I've had breakfast and a late lunch here and both have been excellent. For me the test of any cafe is whether cake is flavoursome and their coffee and walnut cake definitely passed. I also enjoyed a coronation chicken sandwich with some extra coleslaw. Both were very good.

What a wonderful find in Kirkby Stephen! The food was really delicious and so lovely to have freshly baked cakes. Lovely friendly staff and a pleasant cafe to enjoy a coffee. Highly recommend.

Stopped off here the other day while passing through, service was good, the food lovely, big portions too! I ordered a slice of carrot & orange take to take away and it didn't disappoint. I will be stopping here again. It was nice to see that they offered dairy and gluten free options as it can be hard for small business to cater them all.

Some poor reviews on here, but we went in a couple of days ago, just for a sandwich and a bun, and no complaints. Nice thick bread, large chunks of chicken, and plenty of it too. Had a scone with jam and cream, lovely. Service good, would go again but we were just passing through on holiday.

Out on the bike and stopped here for lunch. Had the all day breakfast. Food was excellent, cooked just right for my preference, attentive service and nice location.

The staff were very friendly and really welcoming, The food was very nice for the cost...if you're paying 10 quid for a breakfast you can't expect a la carte?!...would definitely visit again

I came here expecting mulberries. But left with something better. There was a place to hang my jacket. No pool but there was a scone. No bedbugs. Pretty cool.
Lovely cafe. Good vegan option and prices!

Great cafe to stop as when out cycling. Very helpful, free water bottle refills, food coffee and good wraps... after lunch the sun comes round and they have a few seats and tables on the street... plenty of room inside. BTW £10 min on cards
Unexpectedly nice! Would recommend if your travelling through! Nice homemade burgers! Lovely staff ☺️
What a gem, I was looking for a cafe stop to call in at with a few friends, I'd read a few reviews and we weren't disappointed, really friendly staff, and good quality food, thanks, we'll certainly be back.

Absolutely spot on the only thing was dogs not allowed to be inside. I hate sitting by the side of the road. But everything else was great.

Questions & answers
101Is it dog friendly
No it isn't. I have a dog too, and there is a notice in the window saying no dogs allowed. Shame, I can only go there when I don't have my dogs with me.
